I said I was going to do one more drawing before I left.

I am putting my entire being for a week into this drawing. This is a drawing I would not have done on my own. Don’t you see, DA? This drawing is for you.

So, you think DA is a place where artists can meet one another and exchange criticism and stuff? I don’t. I think it’s a place where Nathan goes to see artists better than him and try to emulate their technique a fail miserably at it and get ignored.

BUT it’s an OK place to you. All right. COME AND PROVE ME WRONG. I’ll give it a second chance.

I’ll put this drawing up. And if I don’t get the ‘usual’ reception, I’ll stay and stick it out for longer.
But when I don’t… when all I get is the usual ‘good work my friend!’ and obligatory fave from (not that I’m not grateful buddy! I am!) I’m probably going to snap.

Then I’m outta here.

So I just took my own little corner of the world and made it national Nathan’s pity-party century, OK?
My corner of the world. Where I make my art. And where the art’s gonna stay if something doesn’t change.

Everyone says, ‘you shouldn’t care what other people think.’ Then why even bother sitting here on the dial-up for 45 minutes to put up a drawing for everyone to see if I don’t care what they think? Why even BOTHER with DA, hmm?
